Cadence Meetings & Incentives Expands With First East Coast Office
Don Jones, Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Cadence, is pleased to announce that John Knob has accepted the position of Senior Manager, Sourcing and Industry Relations for Cadence Meetings & Incentives.
Previously the Proposal Development Manager for Maritz Travel, John joins Cadence with over 17 years of experience in meetings and incentives travel. In addition to his strong industry presence, John’s expertise spans from pre-sale strategy and program design to site selection and meetings procurement.
“John is a big believer in the power of people and relationships, which has been the Cadence philosophy since the day we were founded twenty years ago,” said Don Jones. “He is perfectly suited to support our expansion into the northeast corridor.”
John will be based in Philadelphia and will oversee our sourcing and industry relations team.
“A high percentage of the corporate events we manage are for pharmaceutical companies, an industry that saturates the East Coast,” Don explained. “Naturally, the next step in supporting the growth of our Meetings & Incentives division is to create a local presence for both our current clients and future prospects. We preach the importance of face-to-face time, a philosophy John’s role exemplifies.”
