General Function/Job Purpose:

Program and support all travel industry software products utilized by our agency.

 Responsibilities:

  • Support all mid-office and back-office programs (QC, Auto Ticket, Reporting, Sabre, TRAMS)

  • Help to maintain Online Booking Tool (OBT) queues in Sabre

  • Troubleshoot issues with above programs as needed

  • Manage Unused ticket tracking program and process

  • Support all OBT implementations, requests, updates, training

  • Point of Contact for all automated systems mentioned above

  • Create/update QC rules and prompts as needed

  • Run ad hoc/scheduled reports as needed

  • Organize “as needed” training for internal and external customers

  • Teach/share new enhancements/formats/shortcuts with agents

  • Work to streamline agent processes (efficiencies/time management)

  • Assist independent affiliates with automation needs

  • Assist with other relevant technology projects as needed

  • Monitoring, sorting and working of OBT queues to maintain quality control

  • Manually book air, hotel, rail, car and other transportation reservations when OBTs fail

  • Perform various exchange types (using a banked credit, changing a name, etc.)

  • Program site changes for accounts 

 Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a corporate travel agent

  • Exceptional comprehension of all Sabre software products and capabilities (i.e. scripts)

  • Familiarity with airline, car & hotel contracts

  • Experience supporting online booking tool mid-office/ticketing processes (including Concur)

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to effectively communicate and work with co-workers

  • Aptitude to resolve issues independently

  • Team Player

  • Good mathematical and analytical skills

  • Flexible schedule
