Cadence Turns 20: Socktober!

The spirit of CT20: When your employees want to buy clothes for the homeless instead of themselves.

The spirit of CT20: When your employees want to buy clothes for the homeless instead of themselves.

If you follow Kid President as much as we do (we're borderline obsessed), you may already know how to do Socktober. If not, we'll explain.

In the words of Kid President himself, "To celebrate the fifth year of this annual drive, we’re on a mission to activate 3 million people! How do you Socktober? It’s very simple. We want to see 3 million people take action and help their local homeless shelters as they prepare for the winter! It’s not just socks. Find out what is most needed in your area and rally the people in your life to meet it!"

How did we do Socktober? Every Friday, Cadence employees are nominated and recognized for their exceptional contributions that week. Inspired by Kid President, Leah Shader used her reward gift card to personally shop for the homeless. Go Leah! A year for both decades of our success, she donated 20 pairs of socks to a local shelter.
