PCMA, a leading organization for meeting and event professionals, will host the third annual LEAP educational conference on Thursday, May 28, 2015 as part of the association’s mission to deliver superior and innovative education, and promote the value of professional convention management.

LEAP is a day of advanced-level learning comprised of high-impact sessions that provide attendees the opportunity to Learn, Engage, Act and Participate through creative outlets under the guidance of thought leaders. Participants will be exposed to the innovative concept of design thinking, a planning strategy aimed at adding value and purpose to future meetings and events.

Don Jones, Executive VP of Sales and Marketing at Cadence Meetings & Incentives, and Carl Winston, Director of SDSU’s L. Robert Payne School of Hospitality and Tourism Management will set the stage for the experience. Attendees will then journey through three breakout sessions, each delivering an inspiring and memorable message about creativity, innovation and improvisation.  Violinist Kai Kight, Sabrina Molinari of Davrina, and Josh Bukstein of Nerd Improv will speak to these topics.

The event will take place at the iconic Merchants Exchange Club, located in the heart of San Francisco’s financial district. This unique architectural jewel is considered one of the premier meeting venues in the Bay Area.
