Enjoy the Beauty of the Natural World

National Parks

Google Arts & Culture has teamed up with U.S. national parks so you can enjoy the beauty of the natural world from the comfort of home. The Project, called “The Hidden Worlds of the National Parks,” allows you virtually explore the protected breathtaking landscapes of Alaska, Hawaii, New Mexico, Utah and Florida from the perspective of a park ranger. Let the dreaming begin!

Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park: Hawaii, USA

On your tour, you will fly over an active volcano, explore a lava tube (pictured here), and look out across volcanic cliffs. One day, when you visit in person, we recommend staying at the Four Seasons Hualalai, or Mauna Lani. While both are a couple hours from the park, the drive to and from is breathtaking itself!

Bryce Canyon National Park: Utah, USA

On your tour, you will see hoodoos (irregular columns of rock) up close, stargaze at the marvelous night sky, and ride through the canyon on horseback. A couple hours from the park is Amangiri. This stunning property is a destination on its own, situated on 600 pristine acres in Canyon Point, Utah with sweeping views towards Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.

Dry Tortugas National Park: Florida, USA

On your tour, you will go on a dive to see a shipwreck, see the third largest coral reef in the world, and visit a Civil War-era fort. The park is comprised of 7 islands and is conveniently located west of Key West. We recommend staying at the Sunset Key Cottages, making it easy to explore the park, as well as the charm of Key West! Sounds like perfect tropical getaway.

Kenai Fjords National Park: Alaska, USA

On your tour, you will rappel into a crevasse, kayak through icebergs, and watch the movement of magical glaciers. A trip to the park is a stop on some Alaska cruise itineraries, or it can be added as a pre- or post- extension to your sailing. Some of our tour partners offer camping/hiking tours that allow you to fully explore the area!

Carlsbad Caverns, New Mexico, USA

On your tour, you will trek through caves by headlamp, fly with thousands of bats, and explore incredible formations! We recommend combining your trip to the Carlsbad Caverns with activities in other parts of New Mexico. There are wonderful hotels in the charming southwestern town of Santa Fe, or perhaps you have always wanted to attend the Albuquerque Balloon Festival!
