Cadence celebrates $20,000 raised for Rady Children's with artwork unveiling

This past week, Cadence visited Rady Children’s Hospital this week to unveil our artwork naming in the Medical/Surgical unit of Rady Children’s Acute Care Pavilion. The artwork naming signifies $20,000 raised for the kids at Rady Children’s over the past three years.

CEO & Founder of Cadence Travel, Wendy Burk, was among the group to accept this recognition on behalf of Cadence Travel management, along with Meg Meyer, Manager of Host Agency; Gail Concepcion, Director of Host Agency; Gail Bush, Director of Human Resources; and Melinda Powers, Director of Marketing & Communications. The group represented the dedication and generosity of hundreds of Cadence employees, travel advisors, preferred partners, and loyal clients.

Since our partnership began with Rady Children’s Hospital in 2014, Cadence had the opportunity to learn about this heartwarming San Diego organization, meet incredible families of very special patients, and even add a Celebration Tile to decorate the walls at Rady Children's back in 2016.

We were so appreciative of the opportunity to support our local community. As the artwork name says, “The world is filled with caring friends."
