Cadence Named to Travel Weekly's 2026 Power List, Ranking Among the Travel Industry's Top-Selling Agencies
“This recognition belongs to our people—our advisors, our clients, our partners, and our team.”
La Jolla, California (June 29, 2026) – Cadence, a full-service travel company headquartered in La Jolla, California, has earned a spot on Travel Weekly's 2026 Power List, the definitive annual ranking of the travel industry's top-selling retail agencies based on 2025 performance. This year's list features 72 companies, each clearing at least $125 million in gross travel sales.
"A place on the Power List is about more than size. These agencies distinguished themselves with their ability to innovate and lead," said Johanna Jainchill, Editor in Chief of Travel Weekly. "As technology advances and consumer expectations change, the companies on this year's Power List are investing in the tools, people and partnerships that are shaping the next chapter of travel, while continuing to deliver the expertise and service travelers value most."
The recognition caps a milestone year for Cadence, which celebrated 30 years in business and 25 years as a national account of Virtuoso. The company was honored by the San Diego Business Journal as one of the Best Places to Work for its eighth consecutive year, earned a Gold Magellan Award for its 10th annual Cadence Connects event, and grew its preferred partner program by 10%. Cadence also announced a partnership with Spotnana to modernize corporate travel management, while its host agency saw more than 10% growth in independent affiliates and a 20% increase in sub-affiliates.
"This recognition belongs to our people—our advisors, our clients, our partners, and our team," said Wendy Burk, Founder and CEO of Cadence. "For 30 years, we've stayed focused on a single idea: taking better care of people. When you tune out the noise and truly listen to your clients, the rest follows. We're grateful, and we're just getting started."
Across the industry, this year's Power List responses reveal companies leaning into the future by investing in generative and agentic AI, responding to growing demand for premium and luxury experiences, and maintaining cautious optimism despite rising fuel costs, regional conflict, and inflation.
"Power List agencies are staying ahead by investing in AI, supporting travelers through various disruptions, and remaining nimble in the face of shifting market forces," said Mary Pat Sullivan, Executive Vice President of Marketing & Partnerships at Northstar Travel Group. "Their steady leadership is continuing to move the industry forward."
Cadence is carrying that momentum into 2026. The company recently hosted its 11th annual Cadence Connects event at Four Seasons Westlake Village in California, centered on advisor resilience and well-being with the theme "Ticket to Thrive." Looking ahead, Cadence plans to welcome new advisors who bring both expertise and strong culture fit, launch AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency and support for advisors and clients, and pursue accelerated growth—including actively expanding its client base in Meetings & Incentive Travel and Corporate Travel Management.
"We're building for the next 30 years, not just the next quarter," said Eitan Geft, President of Cadence. "That means investing in technology across the board—making our staff more efficient and effective in serving clients, bringing new solutions to our corporate clients, and equipping our advisors with tools that sharpen how they run and grow their businesses. Through it all, we never lose sight of the human connection that defines everything we do."
