A few weeks ago, our very own Chardell Robinson, Business Travel Sales Manager, was asked to be on a San Diego Business Travel Association panel to discuss 2017 hotel RFPs and sourcing. (Yes, it’s already time to start thinking about 2017!)

Here were the top three takeaways:

More isn’t always better. A common mistake is casting the net too wide for multiple hotels. This is simply time consuming and ineffective. The more targeted and strategic you are, the more successful you will be!

If it’s not broke, don’t fix it. While you want to be judicious, you don’t want to change your preferred hotels too often. When properties are doing well, keep them. It creates a comfort for your travelers and the hotel also gets to know your account really well- which equals better service and better partnership.
